Afternoon Shadows fall from the geraniums and woodwork of the railing of this old brick house. The interest to paint this came specifically from the shadows created one summer afternoon. I also found the brickwork truly fascinating along with a mystery of what may lie just inside the window. This is the actual image the size of which is 8 ½ X 9 ½.
